Back on the Wagon

The workout wagon that is. I've decided that I really need to get back in shape now that Amelia is almost three months old and I just can't seem to let my maternity clothes go! I know that I'll never be as fit as I was in college (because going to the gym every single morning is just NOT an option anymore). I can at least lose some of this baby weight, as well as some of the weight that I gained soon after I got married.

Hopefully taking Mia for walks and hitting the gym a couple times a week will do the trick. We're also trying to make healthier food choices as well. My goal? To get fit in time for the cruise that Joe and I plan to take in 2009! It will be a bit of a celebration cruise, Crystal and my friend Beth will have completed their MSWs, Joe will have completed Seminary (hopefully), and we're hoping that a bunch of our friends who live back east will be able to join us so that we can have a bit of a "reunion" with them. So far Beth and Steve as well as Crystal seem to be totally on board (get it? On Board? Ha ha)... but we are hoping the VanAmburgs, Ardreys, Bureaus, and many others will join us.

Amelia will be 2 by then and will stay with her grandparents. I'm sure that they would be more than willing to oblige :-)

Back to my situps with Mia. She likes to help me count my sets in English, Spanish, and French as she sits in her swing!!

You are exactly right to know her grandparents will take good care of her... All we need to do now if not argue over who gets her! good luck with your goal, you didnt gain much weight, so it should be fairly easy for you...

Good luck hitting the gym! I'm going to have to start working out again soon after Riley is born too so that I can be in "bikini shape" for the cruise!

Forget BIKINI shape... I don't think I'll ever be there! Bathing suit shape will be nice!
