Sittin'

Joe likes to sing a parody of the Steve Miller song "Quicksilver Girl". He sings "She's a sittin' up girl, lover of the world" mostly when she first started sitting up but it still comes up every now and then. It's so funny what adults come up with to sing to their children! (or is it just me and Joe?)

I checked on Amelia last night and found her sitting up in her crib playing with some toys. She looked right at me as I creaked the door open. I was so surprised because she had never sit up by herself before. I laughed and slowly shut the door. To my surprise she eventually fell asleep.

It seems like she's doing something new every day. I'm so thankful that I am able to stay home with her and watch her change and grow. She is truly growing up SO fast. Where is my little tiny baby that wanted me to hold her all the time?
